You fully misunderstand. Funnily enough the Christ we Christians follow never sinned and gluttony would fall into that category. He overcomes because He is the creator that created everything, even that which turned against Him and as such is the only One that could do anything to win. So Him turning His cheek means nothing, 'tis but a scratch, as they say.
