In general , people "hate" "the others", because:

• they've never met and conversed those human beings
• they see them as a single non-humanized unit
• because the people are anxious and afraid and they need a target for all that emotion
• media brainwashed the people to hate that group

It's the simplest and oldest trick in the book.

When the center cannot hold and the dissonance has been sown in the country, then the solution in order not to fall apart internally is to find an external enemy.

It doesn't require reason (cause nor intellect), just emotion.

If you think Russia hate is high now, wait till the China hate really ramps up. It's only warming up.
