I don't understand how the current payment processors aren't in an uproar.
I've posted threads with links to vids from people in the industry. FedNow is inserting oneself between you and your purchase. And, it's programmable. Currently, they can see... They don't care FedNow will allow them to stop purchases they don't agree with.
The difference with CBDCs is that they can't be converted into cash, so there's no way out of the system.
