I had this clown recruiter call me and ask me “is $18/hr enough to pay your bills?”
I asked her “you know I make more than that delivering pizzas, right?”
Unfortunately, they get paid commission and a pretty descent wage, usually.. all with some garbage humanities degree. They're utterly useless to actually producing products but will pay second-world wages expecting top-end talent.

That’s exactly what it is. Biotech relies heavily on Chinese nationals in the US.
