You know, that "debunked" technology that gives you "free energy"? Does anyone have any references? The most I get are mentions...and then stupid establishment soyence articles debooooking them.

The 'plasma battery' in the game Halo is pure fiction. Although there is some research in the real world on plasma batteries, a fundamental problem is that a plasma is extremely temporary and so it is not a way to store energy for the longterm.
If you are talking about extracting energy from a plasma as you would from a battery, while one could extract a small amount of energy from a gas plasma, it takes energy to create a plasma and it is not really a good and stable mechanism for a battery. It's like asking, "Can you store energy in a neon sign?"
