If you're here, you're not new to spin. This is a disabled child. The aid didn't just steal from him, they deviated from his specific protocols. As amazing as it seems, this could be deemed the aides fault, and they could loose their ability to work with children over this.
If you are underage in a facility thay is supposed to be providing you care for your issues, and instead causes them... Then you can compare yourself to this child.
Obviously this facility is not equipped to handle this person's violent tendencies. Instead of having effective school teachers receive prison-style beatings, he should be under the care of professionals with the correct training for such violence.
I think the teachers union is behind the smear campaign. The article says his mother doesn't live in town. Who is going over his paperwork? Who agreed to his paperwork. He had an IEP and a BIP at the very least. Who agreed to them?
He's probably in the wrong school but maybe resources are tight in that district and they're doing the best they can with him? I know every time education budgets get tighter, situations like this can eventually arise. I'm glad there was a video so I could hear him. It's very obvious he's autistic and you're dead on with the messing with routines point. He has the emotional functioning of a 4 year old and the mass of a university footballer.
If you read the article. Even with the loaded words he was in the wing of the school that provided treatment for his issue. The problem is about level of care. Was he receiving the level of care he was supposed to be receiving?

He's autistic. It shouldn't be anyone's fault and he shouldn't be charged with anything.
I bet he ends up in prison over this though.
Motherfucker I'm autistic. If I beat someone within an inch of their life over a fucking gameboy, I'd sure as hell expect to be thrown in prison.
