Can we demand that every squad in battle has to have a different caliber weapon for every person therein? Every vehicle to be from a different manufacturer? Every radio to be on a different channel from all the others?

Diversity is our strength, after all.

If I were the US military, I would simply refuse to kill, or even engage, enemy combatants, unless they had proper diversity represented among their troops.
