Convolution.

Mixing multiple functions together makes it harder to pin point one function and rule out the others at an individual level. For example, did you get 'normal' cancer, COVID cancer, Vax cancer, or train crash smoke cancer?

At a population level it doesn't matter. You are still dead early.
