Lack of investment in hydrogen is something I've been calling out. Heavy investment in EV is ridiculous, except as a prototype. You can buy a hydrogen car now. The "goal" is for there to be 200 filling stations for it in CA by 2030. In scare quotes because that's an excuse, not a goal.

You are exactly right. More specifically, they plan on controlling all resources by as few as possible living like Kings with the rest of us as serfs or dead. The remaining component of feudalism is knights; the enforcers will have a greater technological advantage partly because we will be deprived. Further, they plan on reverting N America to wilderness.
