Outside of big biz lobbyists, It’s That people can’t form effective groups or unions or hell, agree on very much at all. They show up, get bored and leave. Everything is pop culture now. Everything is a fad, that passes with time.
There is a very manipulative and dark side to the advertising industry, and mass media in general, it’s changed the way we think, our attention spans, etc.
It goes WAY beyond capitalism/communism, which is another bifurcated false paradigm— it’s all corporate fascism parading as two warring systems—like the Republicrats in the US—
Pepsi and Coke, different labels, tastes mildly different, some have brand loyalty, different slogans— both still poison.
