I dunno, considering she is now the "former" speaker her political clout is most likely diminished completely and she no longer has any leverage to work with.

Which also makes it even more amusing considering if her position was giving her any sort of immunity from consequence of action she could also be held accountable for those stock investments she took advantage of.

Granted would not surprise me if her stepping down was under threat of tarnishing her reputation based on her actions as Speaker.
