There were giants. No one debates that other mammals were enormous during the ice age. Why wouldn't humans have also been?

Elephants were giants.
Tigers were giants
Sloths were giants.
Lions were giants.
Rhinos were giants.
Bears were giants.
Great apes were giants.
Even gerbils were giants.
Yet humans were less than 5' tall?
I'm not buying it.
