Believing in Jesus isn’t enough. You have to accept him as your personal lord and savior. This is actually a very involved spiritual process in which you identify what you are (a sinner), that you are not worthy of salvation (the more you reflect, the more you realize just how wretched you are), and that despite not being worthy, God loves you so much that he’d rather die for you and pay the price for sin so that you may have a chance to live.
Once you accept this gift, you must undergo baptism. This ceremony involves you letting your old self die so that a new you may be born. This act of forsaking your old self, that person that was in the world, requires you to adopt the personality of Christ. You do this by following His commandments and live according to His example. This is actually quite difficult because it requires you to change your ways and have a legitimate change of heart. When Christians say they have given themselves to Christ, that’s supposed to mean that they no longer make their own choices in life, instead opting to let Christ decide what to do for them. Obviously, many people don’t do this correctly.
Satanists, despite believing in Christ, willfully blaspheme and mock him. They break His commandments and have no Love in their hearts. I should say, they do not have Love in the Biblical sense. What the average person identifies as love, being a sentimental/longing emotion or feeling, isn’t real love. Biblical love has more to do with willful adherence to the Truth and fulfilling of obligation regardless of the consequences.
