Yes, yes it is. Well, not your head specifically, but a significant piece of you is in a different universe.
I’ve been thinking about this a lot. As part of my discovery process I did an Ayahuasca trip (don’t judge).
At the apex of my trip I was broken into three separate and distinct pieces: mind, body and soul. All of them were ‘me’ but only loosely. I am simply the combination of those three components at this particular moment in time. Eventually my mind will die. Followed (hopefully quickly) by my body. The soul will remain (though I have no idea what happens to it).
The soul is something really, really special. And it is often completely overlooked by most people. I think it is the key to understanding the nature of truth and reality.
Your analogy to a video game is spot-on with my personal experiences. As a video games are pixels on a screen to tickle your mind, this physical experience we all share is a simulation to tickle our souls.
The soul is the only piece that seems to be ‘real’ or grounded in actual ‘reality’. Everything else seems to be superficial.
As far as what that means for the larger picture - I have no idea. I’m not smart enough to understand why any of this was created in the first place. And I don’t think there are enough psychedelics in the universe to answer that question.

Temporary living within the ongoing process of dying implies being done by and always in the state of making. Being implies within a moving system...others use suggested facts to tempt one to ignore perceivable "in the making".
Every suggestion represents a fiction within a perceivable system...if consented to.
what is happening is absolutely real
a) you represent the partial (living) within the absolute whole (process of dying).
b) the partial cannot define anything, only respond to the predefined whole.
c) if one suggests "this is", then one ignores that "everything was" before one could choose to shape the suggestion what "this is".
Everything perceivable exists before any suggestion can be made about it.

a) one can only perceive moving differences, because the moving nature self differentiates from whole (process of dying) into partial (living), hence you representing "one" and not "two".
b) suggested "we" tempts "one" to ignore self. The few suggest collectivism (we) to tempt the many to ignore apartheid (one). The collectivized many represent the compound interest of the few.

Before one can consent to such a conflict (want vs not want), one exists as choice within balance (need/want). Therefore; ones free will of choice to ignore need (perceivable) for want (suggested) shapes the want vs not want conflict of reason...the conflicts the few can generate; rebrand, keep going and fully control from both sides, while all reasoning within are within self inflicted ignorance about what they're doing.

Reality represents everything perceivable, each perceiving one within represents the lack of comprehension thereof. One doesn't need to define reality, or redefine it for others; one needs to grow comprehension within predefined reality.
