I dont think living through the event is the issue.

The lucky ones will die. If it is indeed the end of this interglacial.

The foods gonna run out pretty quick and with no sun and rain to grow more, things are gonna get dire real quick. Like watch the fuck out your neighbors might try to eat you type crazy.
