Yeah but a 'trick' is different.
So for example. A trick doesn't mean anything without knowing the thing the trick does....
It's a trick to distract a child before dinner so that they have an appetite....it's not a lie that they aren't hungry....it's suggesting that the hunger is not worth reaction because there is a reason to wait.
Saying it's a trick doesnt mean that the kid doesn't need to eat....it's to avoid a conflict.....
I sense some subtle here....you are rejecting all subtly and not disclosing much of your insider knowledge....hence you are pushing a narrative with intent to mislead.
