So pitiful that almost everyone was willing to sacrifice all freedom, morality and law just to obtain a few more years of life. Humans don't live long, but they were so afraid of death, they have been willing to do anything.

Yep. I also think it is because we have become so self centered and don't believe in anything higher or more important than ourselves.
The doc I posted yesterday, with the husband looking for his wife.. he definitely had high T, good bone structure, he was willing to do anything even give up his organs for his wife and child. So sad.
I think there's also a belief, especially strong among the boomers, that medical science will deliver immortality within their lifetime.
I suspect the thinking is that if they can survive long enough, they won't actually die, and they're willing to do anything to get there.
Yeah, I respect my parents and some individuals. But as a group I hold boomers in contempt. They really participated in the destruction of Western Civ
