Much plausible deniability, especially with the "I just want to make a ton of money" cover; gives him an excuse to move in circles he normally wouldn't, not unlike Musk.
I found it intesting, too, that his brother, who he sold as a medical advisor to Trump, suggested that he was the one pushing a narrative; he may also be a fall guy/front man for a lot of people.
