Honestly, working out hard every day is the most effective way to stay sane. I just mean hard as in heart rate up to 140+ for a few minutes, and up to 125 for 15-30 minutes; of course adjust the numbers based on age. Getting your heart rate up for a period of time every day, as well as building muscles (pumping iron, at least some) is so effective at reducing stress and reducing other problem hormones and chemical imbalances. It helps return your body to its physiological normal state, which is key.
The other thing is cutting out sugar and alcohol; cutting out both of those will have a drastic positive impact. If you're an alcoholic, obviously get some help getting off the alcohol because you can't just quit cold turkey in a single week or something (my friend's mom died that way).

a) suggested working out represents the inversion of perceivable working within, hence work (energy) will set you free (will of choice).
b) frequency of adaptation to being moved grows resistance (life) within velocity (inception towards death).
c) suggested "way to stay" tempts one to ignore perceivable way (process of dying) of loss (living)...unless resisted (growth) by frequent adaptation.
d) SANE (Latin sanus; sound) implies the whole (process of dying) for the partial resonance/dissonance within (living).
