Revelation 2 and 3 give descriptions of churches and alludes to their outcomes in the end times. It lists several bad things about what the churches are doing and I've come to take it as an indication that this is the best that one can hope for in a church as although they all look to be clean cups on the outside I think many are filthy on the inside. In the descriptions it is mentioned several times that the churches are teaching to eat foods sacrificed to other idols. I've been hung up on the idea the kosher mafia is to blame here as we also find mention of the fact that there are those who claim to be Jews but are in fact the Synagogue of Satan in these chapters, implying that perhaps all the food labeled kosher is in fact sacrificed to someone other than God. With this lab grown meat thing coming into play I'm thinking maybe the churches will adopt the consumption of this unnatural creation and the worship of science is just another way that Satan succeeds in preventing people from worshiping God.
