Anyone in the cryptospace based in fundamentals knew FTX was a bad idea and a scam from the start.
I'd like to point out that Cryptocurrencies allow us to have decentralized exchanges, free of any middlemen. No one to embezzle, pull an exit scam or make a single-minded bad decision.
Starting a centralized exchange in 2019 could only be motivated by nefarious intentions. There are already billions of dollars being traded on DEXs.
Decentralized Autonomous Organizations scare the shit out of TPTB. That's why there's a huge campaign against blockchain projects.
If the average person realized that blockchains can give us fair and decentralized versions of any company or service, there would be a revolution in a week or two.
Open, auditable and fair elections? No problem. We can have Direct democracy and representative models at the same time. Not only political elections, but shareholders meetings, etc. Wouldn't it be nice if employees/citizens had a vote about raises and bonuses?
Prepaid Car Insurance? How about you prepay your deductable and nothing else until you have a claim?
How about ISP's and cell phones? Meshnetworks are already available for deployment. We can easily replace and add to existing infrastructure.
Open source, decentralization is the only way to a better future.
Anyone hating on 'crypto' because of central banking digital currencies, or other centralized coins, is either shilling or hasn't thought things through. Hating all crypto is like hating all stocks because of something AAPL did.
Crypto is the only thing that allows modern commerce to continue to function while eliminating central banks, corporate corruption, and predatory business.
The real revolutionaries are dumping all fiat into privacy coins with DAOs. Not trading them back for fiat profit.
For the first time in modern history, there's actually something people can be doing to change the world and free themselves. It's non-violent and as unstoppable as the human spirit.
