IF anything, I think both these monologues are a kind of "self" deprecating Jewish damage control. Jewish over-representation and tribalism is so glaringly obvious it's disengenuous to deny it. So it remains to make light of it and play it down, say it's silly and "mentally ill" to worry about it.
