YSK there's currently a YSK on Reddit about the rules for blood donations having changed recently. And, even after that poor baby died of blood clots due to vaccine contaminated blood, those weren't the changes that were made. The modifications were mostly changes in the waiting from 12 months down to 3 months in the, " at risk" categories. Why YSK? It's going to encourage more people to donate blood contaminated with blood clots.

If you read that thread, pay attention to the verbiage, " gay fear", " homophobia". The screening for potentially infected donors known as a high risk population takes a backseat to politics for some people.

Just a warning, the Red Cross is so pushy I told them I died so they would stop calling me. It was an odd conversation to be told how sweet, and funny I was... But, they stopped calling me!
There are also non blood alternatives. They work better for some people than others, but they don't deserve the smear campaign they got during that brief time when blood donations didn't allow vaccinated blood.
