Those are gods (and humans who were given “boons” by them), not aliens. Aliens are modern fiction. Gods have been around MUCH longer.

As for scientific explanation - it may be beyond understanding, but i suspect description ought to still be possible in those terms. Certainly ufos (flying craft) function definitely and are built by living entities. There is only one living entity that we know of that builds flying craft though.
