I don't care for king james version. Truth be told I don't trust any version, what I trust is that the living God continues to speak through the living Word He created. I'm also learning to read it in the original hebrew and greek for better understanding but God helps those that can't help themselves and He is what you should rely on when reading(and everything else but this pertains to scripture).
Jesus lived as a human to show us how to live as humans and He did it perfectly, which we cannot. Because Jesus is God (one of three forms, think water, ice, vapor for lack of a better understanding) He knows we can't be perfect so in order to regain access to us and thereby give us access to Him, He died. When He died He overcame death, that is defeated it by dying our death, a death He needn't die because He is eternal, this is how Jesus gained victory over death and hell(He took the keys per se). We are more than flesh, we are creatures made with the creator's spirit, His image as it were. When Jesus died His real spirit form went into darkness for us and took power over those that challenged God's sovereignty and started the battle for our everlasting souls, as always, God wins. Then He rose to life to share His victory with us and give us the gift of eternal life in the Kingdom of God. He loves you so much and He wants to know you forever. Gifts are freely given but they do require acceptance from the receiver.
Can you be more specific(sometime, maybe not now) regarding what is misleading about the christian bible and your particular issue with God?
Do a deep dive on King James and the KING JAMES VERSION of the Bible. Why does it have HIS name attested to it?
That is your starting point.

Another road sign. Google Mauro Biglino. Download a pdf of his book.
Greek is not an original organic language of the Torah.
I'll look it up. Learning hebrew for old testament and greek for new testament for better translation and knowledge.
What does the Bible advise about dealing with public corruption? What's the Bible's advise on this matter??
Look to Jesus, He saved us from hell. This essay explains it well: https://jesusistheanswersite.wordpress.com/2016/02/01/how-to-stay-godly-in-a-corrupt-world/
