The jobs paying $60k+/yr fly off the shelves and can't get filled quicker.

Maybe where you are, but that is NOT the case here in SE South Dakota. Know many companies who are struggling to fill min wage jobs, the $22/hr school bus jobs, the $22/hr pizza delivery jobs, and even jobs $60k, 80k+ in banking, medical, and manufacturing.
