Same here, if the forbes wef article (you will own nothing and be happy) is even remotely true.

I have no problem giving up technology if it means im still allowed to live with some freedom and respect in some shantys in the old towns. But I suspect the powers that be arent going to simply let us be.

The middle of the woods is looking awfully tempting these days.
