"Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom." Matthew 16:28
You're misquoting scripture. That is speaking of his ascension into the kingdom...
"9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;
11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven."
Acts 1:9-11

No it isn't. Why would he say that right before he ascends? "Some of you will not taste of death before the football game later tonight." He was referring to his second coming. Regardless, just more proof the Bible wasn't divinely inspired when it can't properly get its point across.
Yes you did, you completely misquoted scripture. Read your "quote" in your first comment and then read the actual verse in my comment.
Now you're getting confused again. He did not say that right before he ascended. He said that probably years before. Notice how one scripture is in Matthew 16:28 and the other is in Acts 1:9-11...
You will be unable to interpret scripture correctly without the Holy Ghost and diligent study. Without the help of God you will be unable to comprehend correctly the things of God. To receive the Holy Ghost you must repent of your sins and put your faith in Jesus Christ.
My words remain true. He was referring to his second coming, which is also the interpreted meaning by many Christians. The fact you can argue and throw in probablies, is just further proof the Bible was written by ignorant primitives who jumbled all this shit together. I expect better from a holy book.
