The standard model explains that space itself is expanding. That’s where the redshift hypothesis by Hubble came from. Unfortunately for that model, the Jim Webb telemetry data proved that hypothesis incorrect; space isn’t expanding at all
The redshift / Blue shift is now science fodder?
pretty much. There IS redshift but the “expanding space” explanation behind it is now moot.
