I just got into a debate with a Flat Earther on here that is adamant that The SUN and MOON don;t disappear over the horizon but FADE away even after being linked to video after video of sunrise/moonrise sunset/moonset videos that We all have see in real life.
And there the FLAT EARTHER that I was talking about IS!!! NOW Explain to the audience what We are seeing in this Sunrise and Moonrise video .. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OkHWPnoBDtg](SUNRISE AND MOONRISE FUCKING LINK!!!) << What am I seeing? WILL also dedicate a post in the feed and welcome flat earthers to explain what THIS actually is
Your explanation is; optical perspective. The sun is far away, so far away that it is beyond your optical view, ie, the sun is outside of the perspective of your naked eye. As it gets closer, the sun does not change elevation, but you think it does because it appears to rise. In reality, its just getting closer.
Stop the Video at 56 seconds.. The Sun appears halfway above the horizon and halfway below the horizon. Where exactly is the lower half of that SUN at 56 seconds in this video?
