The idea of the speed of light being the "artifact of the system" is not new. This has been discussed before. The problem is that the observation/theory is not objective enough. The same reasoning could also be applied to God placing a limitation in reality. The same reasoning could also be applied to an actual limitation in the physics system of a non-simulation theory. All of this is old as well. This is a distraction and meant to discourage people. Do not fall for this type of nonsense.
