The aircraft is known to be equipped for a range of missions, including anti-surface and subsurface warfare, naval artillery support, surveillance and communications relay. It is used for intensive coastal warfare and open water operations.

But I don't think the military has any of those silly things. And it's totally impossible to hand over a call sign from one aircraft to another. Unless it's Air force 1, or 2. Or Marine 1.. Or 2. Or during special operations. Or it's a Tuesday.
