I dont use VMware, just some dinky game hobbyist type stuff in c#. I thought VMware was like virtual machines, but seems to be more of something to do with cloud computing and applying processing power and resources on demand.
But I can totally relate to this statement.

Even before covid, people would cross the street or just make an effort to not be near me. If I were black, I would blame it on that. But the truth is I am big and scary looking. It's pretty normal for security to follow me around any kind of store.
Now with all this woke bullshit, I hate walking into banks or any higher run institutions that are using immigrants to fill their positions. 90% of them look at me like I am the devil incarnate. Makes me kinda spiteful actually.
Godamn world is bullshit, use us then throw us away whenever its convenient.
The merge / acquisition of VMWare inevitably will change its prices. The marketing / salespeople are under pressure to make money for the new owner. The other management is being pressured to cut costs, which has led to turmoil.
I had an interview scheduled with VMWare for a contract engineering project a couple of weeks ago. They canceled on one hour notice (!) and the scuttlebut was it was related to the cost goals of new (merger) management which altered all plans.
