Interesting. I didn't finish the whole thing, but the premise is very intuitive. I think the "secret shadowy contractor" bit is just to make the idea more compelling (vs just some guy's theory), but I think it makes perfect sense.
Does it get a lot deeper, and I should really finish it?
It's alright.
Theorizes around movies from way back in the 1960s being the weaponized slow-boiling propaganda pot, reason being human got exposed to movies relatively new and not yet evolved to tell the difference between movie vs. reality.
It does explain why us no longer see movies as entertainment but indoctrination full of subtle leftist socialist agenda.
On another note that he barely touches, our entertainment industry (movie, music, etc) is a tool to control. That's why "country music" stations in the entire nation only play the same dozen "popular" songs all over, absolutely no local flavor; or why "rap" always contains violence/drug references, and so on.
I feel like it falls short of other new invention, such as internet, and now VR.
