People have trouble accepting how insignificant they are in the vastness of God's creation. Even if the Earth was flat, it's still a big place out there.
Yet if God can create such a vast universe, logically he simultaneously has the capacity know you as an individual. Think about it, 8 billion people on this planet are likely less people than all the solar systems, galaxies, and black holes out there.
And then it follows, if he can know you, and create this world for us to live in, why should he not care about you as an individual?
