I am just suggesting that these types of mirages are not good proof. I am not saying the globe is the truth, I am saying that it is possible for lenses to be built or constructed which can tightly capture and reflect the light as needed, but it is also possible that natural lenses can be formed over long distances which can be composed of various layers of water, and air of various pressures which can create lens effects that curve light around large areas, especially if the humidity has a gradient such as above the ocean on a hot day.

I am just suggesting that the size of the earth would imply a very large lense which could curve the light if the lense was large enough to capture it and bounce it over long distances.

Not that it is a globe ... Just that is doesn't exclude either the FE or GE models.

I'm done.....you are wrong. Refraction is the bending of light due to the wavelengths causing them to be reflected or passed, and objects with refractive properties tend to 'bend' light.... That is because the light reflects at barriers and if it loses some of the kinetic energy to reflection it will bend down a bit accordingly. Materials can be created to react to particular wavelengths like filters, etc.

Those mirages are reflected off the waters surface which is reflecting as well as the light goes through the air lense.

If the floor was less reflective it would not 'raise' as much....and you get instead cut off images from the bottom ...things can appear closer such as mountains over plains based on temperature.....etc.

Just stop... believe what you want. Provide evidence that isn't swiss cheese please.
