I find flat earth theories interesting and some of their claims even compelling. But I'm also usually able to find credible evidence debunking it.
Do I believe that the government would lie about the moon landing and even lie about the shape of the planet? Yes
Am I convinced enough to abandon global Earth theory and take up flat earth theory? No. It's frustrating that the debate involves so much name calling and condescending pretentiousness. Both sides should develop scientific experiments people can do on their own that prove the Earth to be a globe or flat.
To me, science is something that can be verified in an experiment. You can verify someone's sexual gender via a test of chromosomes. You cannot test someone's whimsical make believe gender with a scientific method, therefore it's junk and a social construct.
