Click bait. Don’t even bother reading it, there’s literally no substance to it other than “younger people don’t like gardening as much, and they use words other than gardening (various hashtags).
That’s it. No mention of “gardening” being offensive or having baggage or whatever. Really just seems like a “oh shit, I need to write an article quick to stay on the payroll” type thing
It's a bullshit article by another woke idiot trying to Chinese things. It's a modern infestation. Because suddenly gardening is a colonial term. Oh the article is far more subtle, because let's all speak gibberish instead. We just need to speak Wong and sell our language so differently. I expect no less from the Guardian.
Horticulture isn't necessarily gardening. Gardening is keeping a garden, no it's not offensive, because it's a space you can enjoy, and still employ landscapers, and gardeners to tend your garden while you're writing the bullshit news. News he has suddenly loaded with the cancel garbage. Because in his inept studies he hasn't learned what all the different words mean. He wants to cancel the ones he struggles with. They're so colonial.
It's an inept article and I don't care what he calls it. We're not cancelling it. Real simple Wong what is outside of your house. It's a Garden I hope. Suddenly it's so offensive he doesn't have one. No wonder he thinks he's such a horticulturalist for looking after the household plants. Hashtag, indoorgardener, it ain't catchy. God damn it.
Please convince me it was about something else. Because it's another attack on heritage. Today they're all it.
