These need professional backing. The same as independent researchers, wildlife, science, meteorological. They need grants or permissions providing access to various institutes that are divided up into territories and ownership. Antarctica has various claims of different nations holding territory. They all work together in different ways and reason but are independent of each other. Otherwise there's the main place where the tours arrive at.

Yes you see what is shown but you have more access, the tours aren't escorted by military, escort by professionals undoubtedly. But they're obviously logged due to the very big risks. Outside of tours you need permissions. Or you can do professional challenges, or research by approval or grant, giving more access.
