Children are attracted to the foundation of what's being perverted...in this case the animals; plus the animation; cartoons; costumes; exaggerated behaviors; colors etc.
Perverts are attracted to perverting those who aren't...children and animals aka perverting innocence to share (offload) guilt.
This is a good take. I went through this myself when I was a kid watching porn at too young of an age. I was literally still watching Disney shows, so I'd try to look for porn of characters I knew.
