and FTR I have moved on, I just find all of this endlessly fascinating. Every single /r/conspiracy thread is filled to the brim with blatant rule violations. it's striking how quickly they allowed the lunatics free rein in the reddit asylum.
at this point I will be surprised if the US government DIDN'T collude with reddit to have me removed from my position.

There's something on r/conspiracy that I've found even more worrisome than shills and corrupted mods: regular people--legitimate users as far as I can tell--that have been driven to different levels of mental illness by all the toxicity and empowerment of such that exist both on Reddit and in general society.
You ever hear the term, "crazier than a shithouse rat"? These rats have been in the shithouse far too long.
It's my guess that like the government, Reddit was occupied long ago. I think you were maybe even the only uncorrupted mod left there. Sort of like starring in The Walking Dead.
I zeroed in on “username_13” and his comment. It’s pretty fucked that this account is now the top mod on r/con... have you ever gone deep on (and shared) what was happening behind the scenes?
