but I'm surprised I've never seen any threads calling for more AMAs and round tables, they really represented a golden era of the sub.

They really did, which is probably why they’ve been memory-holed so hard. Even years ago though I was getting fed up with how manipulated the various front pages were (r/con to a lesser extent than other subs, but still present for sure). The TuMORs campaign of subversion was long and meticulous. I can’t even browse there anymore, it’s just not a valuable use of time lol.
