I grow my own tobacco, (30 plants annually), and my own coffee bean, (Five black Arabica cherry bean shrubs).
Doesn't tobacco trash the soil? That's what I've always heard anyways.
Yes. Our soil is light shale. Sandy clay. We targeted direct plant locations. Cow shit from a friend...a lot, potting soil from HD...a lot.
On ten acres. About three from the house, 4.5 from the garden. Gotta keep it segregated....um..separated.
