Was doing some digging regarding the Abe assassination which is currently being blamed by the killer as due to Abe having links to the Unification Church (moonies). Doing research on them apparently they own a lot of businesses, one being the Washington Times (yes THE Washington Times) - through their "News World Communications" arm. I know now this has been a thing since forever but it blows my mind. Then add to that that another conservative paper The Epoch Times is owned by the Falun Gong group. I know leftist publications tend to be owned by corporations such as Comcast and Amazon; but I assumed conservative publications were less shilled - apparently owned by random ass foreign cults. Is America this much whored out that our media - especially that which claims to be pro American - is owned by the Asian equivalents of Jim Jonesians?

I know its Chinese. And I know they're anti-communist. That doesn't make them saints however.
I had a personal experience with one of the Shen Yun people. Was at a local Colombian restaurant and ordered some Empanadas from the lady, she went to the back to fry them; while waitingthis Chinese lady walks in maybe like 50 years old or so and shoves some Shen Yun posters at me and just grunted because she obviously couldn't speak English. They go around the cities into every business and ask owners to hang up their stupid posters for free and many do because "we should be nice". I told her I don't work in the restaurant, I'm just a customer and she has to speak to the owner. She didn't understand what I was saying, so I had to get louder and do a universal "no" with my hands. She gave me some fliers and then went up to the soda refrigerator and pointed at it and motioned whether she could have one. I said "NO lady, I don't work here - you can't just take a free soda!", then she left. When the server came back and I told her she said they've already come around numerous times trying to get her to hand up their posters for Shen Yun.
