Let's hope not. If China invades Taiwan, and Russia expands the proxy war going on in Ukraine, the US doesn't have the capacity to fight for very long. The public won't support going to war with either power unless US territory is attacked, like a Pearl Harbor or 9/11.
However, I think that Russia is going to take a chunk of Ukraine, and things go back to a sort of new normal, with an economically diminished US, the sanctions having mostly failed.
