Consider that within perceivable...comprehension (light) or ignorance (dark); depending on responding choice of the perceiving.

As the living within the process of dying aka temporary resistance within ongoing velocity...ignorance (dark) reduces comprehension (light) needed for resistance; hence reducing resistance (living) within velocity (dying). We aren't being over powered; we choose to ignore growing resistance for self sustenance within ongoing velocity. We are drowning based on lack of resistance.
