Do NOT vaccinate your pets

That little cat in the picture looks just like my little Sonya. She had all her vaccinations and lived 18 years. In the end, it was the corporate made food that killed her. Cancer in her mouth because the wet food sticks to the teeth and gums like glue. Vet kept telling me wet food is better. I bought the best food money could buy. Learned my lesson the hard way. The pain in my soul will follow me to my grave. I will never forgive myself for being so stupid.
My latest cat has never had any vaccines. Her diet consists of grilled chicken breasts that are boneless. I just got done a few minutes ago grilling some chicken for her. It's the exact same chicken that I grill for myself. Her health is fantastic and her teeth are very clean and white. She is my entire family at this time in my life. She is priority number one. I love cats. God makes some magnificent animals and I believe he makes their sweet little spirits too.
18 years?
Your cat died of old age bro
Cats can live as long as 22 years. It's the cancer that killed her.
Yup. I don't believe they help pets at all.
Emergency care. That is where they are most helpful, but the checkups etc...those don't make the animals lives better and probably cause them undue stress. Let alone the vaccines ....
Let alone the "food" that they legally sell people to feed their pets.
And people wonder why their animals live such short lives. To tptb, its not productive for these animals to all live long healthy lives.
Better to just feed them sawdust and recycled euthanized animals so that they die quicker in the end.
Covid killed my dog. Not directly. I never thought I could ever become so attached to a small animal, but the dog picked me, about 13 years ago. At one point he had about 1200 stones removed and the vet who did the surgery wasnt sure if he was going to make it, but he did live for another 5 years.
Was acting really arthritic the other year, tried to take him to the vet but because of "covid" everything was shut down and we couldnt get him in. Then a year later, he ends up going into ketoacidosis. It was a brutal, brutal decision to make. I loved the dog more than anything but he was so old and I had no money and I will always regret having him put down. I feel so bad, the dog must have been in a lot of pain towards the end.
That dog was a better friend to me than most of the other humans I have known in this life.
I'm sorry for your loss. Animals and pets are some of the best friends we can have. Loving, provide us with responsibility, and each has their own spirit.
A coworker gave me a kitten (I had 3 other cats at the time) and I called my fancy vet to schedule a neuter. The receptionist insisted that he had to be vaxxed for the neuter. I was polite but clearly frustrated and ended up telling her I would take him to another vet. She finally relented and then said that it's not expensive. They are an extremely expensive vet 45 mins away from me (without traffic), if cost was an issue I wouldn't be going there. The vet later called me and said he'd make an exception.
I had my little boy neutered and have never gone back. I found a vet 5 minutes away when a stray showed up and needed neutering. She gave me no trouble. Didn't ask about vaccines, didn't force me to mask and didn't wear one herself while doing the exam, and even asked me about my other four cats. She now has my 5 cats as patients because she made sense and didn't argue with me and was willing to discuss things rather than demand.
She had me bring my barfer in and actually diagnosed her with something treatable, prescibed a med. She even went line by line over the bloodwork when I asked and not with annoyance. The cat who threw up multiple times a day is now down to once or twice a week. My expensive vet said there was nothing to be done after xrays and refused to do bloodwork on her. (Either inflammatory bowel disease or a slow moving intestinal cancer - both are treated the same, at least at first and she said the biopsy is painful so let's not do that since the treatments start the same).
If a vet ever pushes vaccines on my pets, I know they are crap after that experience. My vet that I loved told me never to vaccinate, but I had to move and could no longer see her.
It's my understanding that the rabies "vaccine" is not a vaccine in the traditional sense. I'll have to research that. I think that's probably the only one you might want to get, but again do your own research.
