Yup. I don't believe they help pets at all.

Emergency care. That is where they are most helpful, but the checkups etc...those don't make the animals lives better and probably cause them undue stress. Let alone the vaccines ....

Let alone the "food" that they legally sell people to feed their pets.

And people wonder why their animals live such short lives. To tptb, its not productive for these animals to all live long healthy lives.

Better to just feed them sawdust and recycled euthanized animals so that they die quicker in the end.

Covid killed my dog. Not directly. I never thought I could ever become so attached to a small animal, but the dog picked me, about 13 years ago. At one point he had about 1200 stones removed and the vet who did the surgery wasnt sure if he was going to make it, but he did live for another 5 years.

Was acting really arthritic the other year, tried to take him to the vet but because of "covid" everything was shut down and we couldnt get him in. Then a year later, he ends up going into ketoacidosis. It was a brutal, brutal decision to make. I loved the dog more than anything but he was so old and I had no money and I will always regret having him put down. I feel so bad, the dog must have been in a lot of pain towards the end.

That dog was a better friend to me than most of the other humans I have known in this life.

I'm sorry for your loss. Animals and pets are some of the best friends we can have. Loving, provide us with responsibility, and each has their own spirit.
