If you cannot visualize, what word would you use to describe how someone who cannot visualize can still use their "imagination"
I understand people cannot visualize a line, but they are able to imagine a line. how else could someone operate unless they know that a theoretical line would connect things that are not actually connected by a line?
You are vastly overestimating the brainpower of people who cannot visualize/imagine a line, trying to separate the terms goes to show that. You're giving them the benefit of the doubt, but thats not reality. I know that its hard to imagine that people cannot imagine because its so easy for you, but it's true. They are literal npcs basically on autopilot. Some people literally cannot have forethought, they cant connect cause and effect, can't draw a mental line between two things.
So you think the Mindcraft AR thing would work to prove earth does not curve?
Sure, why not. Its just a computer program it can show you whatever you want it too.
People from all walks of life experience this phenomenon, including successful doctorate students, engineers, and other professionals.
I've met successful people that are NPCs. How much money you make doesn't make you "awake". I'm not saying that all NPCs cannot visualize, I'm saying that all people who cannot visualize are NPCs.
The computer program does not want to show you anything, its just that it make a strait AR line that is 50 miles long, and then you see the same, uninterrupted line on the otherside, and its still at your eye level. or whatever level you made the line in the first place. that means earth didnt curve, right?
Like I said before, the computer program will show you whatever you program it to show you. Its not the same thing as the outer world. You can use a "flat earth" program to show how the laws of perspective work though, if thats what you're trying to get at.
If you think that not being able to visualize scenarios doesn't impact your life, how you are able to interpret others, how your actions effect others, your empathy, then I dont know what to tell you man. We'll just have to agree to disagree. And the no internal monologue thing is more common than you think. Like I said in the other comment, you're giving people the benefit of the doubt due to naivety.
And I was never sure why you brought up the VR thing anyways. You can just look outside and see that the world flat, you don't need a computer program to do it.
