there are many many videos of people shooting lasers across lakes, where by the globe model the opposite side of the lake should be dozens (or even hundreds) of feet below the curvature, yet they are able to see the laster at eye level. These are reproduceable scientific tests that suggest the earth is flat, not round. of course this is just one type of test but it does demand explanation.

even without lasers, with zoom lenses and even clear days there are many examples of where we can see objects that based on curved earth math, would be below the horizon, but they aren't. Another easy example is one can see the island of capri all the way from Naples on a clear day. This simply shouldn't be possible with the globe.
